In 2014, Sabal wrote, directed, produced and financed his first feature film - ‘Fireflies.’ It premiered at the New York Film Festival. The film's poignant narrative, coupled with an extraordinary storytelling finesse, resonated with audiences and industry experts alike, making it a significant achievement in his career.

‘Fireflies’ was acquired by Netflix, marking a pivotal milestone in Sabal's journey as a filmmaker. It reached a global audience, becoming an international success story.
